Frog Queen The Second
Shiny and new… She’s still my favorite!
Tiered Gift Box Cake
Mmmm… Carrot Cake!
This is not a fancy looking cake, but it is definitely a TASTY cake!
I made these in honor of my friend and co-worker’s birthday and my other friend and co-workers last day! These are the mini, 3-bite-sized cakes.
For my two friends, I stepped it up a notch…
Happy Baking!

We’re on a dragon roll
Mr. Dragon The Second
I know we already made a little dragon, but I decided to make a second version for my friend’s son’s birthday. I only had one night to create him and since I had created on already, it was relatively simple to change him up a bit for a fun new look.
We are big fans of dragons at my house. The googly eyes are a big plus.
Happy Baking,
🙂

Newest Little Cake
Meet Mr. Dragon…
This little guy was a lot of fun to make…
I have added a couple more images of this little dragon cake into the Little Critters Gallery.
I am also working on a step-by-step instruction sheet for the most amazing, light and fluffy, best recipe ever – Meringue Butter Cream Frosting, with photos, simply sign up to the right with your email address and as soon as it’s complete, I will send you a PDF file.
Fun & Happy Baking!

Piranha Flower Cake
Here is the simple little cake that has kept me up 3 nights. This one seemed so simple. It’s relatively small (I used 4 six-inch cake pans to bake) and the rice crispy treats for the “flower”, yet it seemed that everything that could go wrong with a cake, did! Oh well, the finished product is cute and, overall, I am happy with the way it turned out.
Happy Baking!

Little Critters – As Promised :)
This little fishy is my favorite weekend creation.
I baked the little suckers on Saturday… word to the wise “stick with what you know!” I tried a different quick release spray for the little pans… and 8 of them STUCK… pooper doopers! No worries.. I went back to the tried and true – “grease and flour the pan” and SUCCESS! Horray!
The little guy below is in honor of my little sister. (I know you’re sick of turtles, Rach… but I can’t help myself!).
I had absolutely no idea what I was going to create when I started. My son told me I HAD to make a panda, because he likes them and his older brother LOVES them… so, here he is:
The next one is for Adam. Special request for an octopus…Â but this one is silly, because I LOVE googly eyes:
There are a few more. I will make a Little Critters Gallery so you can view them all.
I have also taken pictures of most of the steps I took creating the little suckers as well as some pictures for a step-by-step “how to” so you can make the delectable butter cream frosting… it has only a few ingredients, but it’s a bit tricky. I will post the recipe and the pictures later this week.
If you have any questions as to how I accomplished something, let me know and I will answer as soon as I can – perhaps with a photo.
Happy cake making!
Peace and Love,
Krissy

Woke up bright & early for a quick workout before I start turning my mini cakes into little critters.
